In any effective ministry, there is time for growth, movement and improvement. In an ever changing youth-cultured society it’s becoming more and more important that our children, youth and young adults not only know our Reformed teachings - the ’head knowledge’, but that they also know how to expressively live out that knowledge in their day-to-day lives - ‘heart expression’.

412 Ministries is not replacing any children, youth and Young Adult programs; instead 412 Ministries aims to move our youth from 'programs based' to 'ministries based' ministries in which the leaders equip our children, youth and young adults to be BOLD for Jesus Christ in their speech, conduct, love, purity and faith.  412 Ministries serves as the umbrella to all our children, youth and young adults ministries of Gateway CRC.

YOUtH Protocols for Covid

As youth ministry leaders, it is our goal to keep your children safe while they are with us on Thursday nights. Here is what we are doing to adhere to BC Health requirements:

We will keep our Mentorship groups small – 8 or less including leader

We will wear our masks while on the Gateway campus

We will have hand sanitizers at all entrances and youth will be required use as they enter, change building zones and before and after active games

We will move our large group teachings to the church lobby providing with more space. We are making our classrooms in the heritage wing larger by keeping the room dividers open.

We will serve the food to our youth – no youth will be touching the food. Masks and gloves will be worn by our dedicated servers

We will have youth spread out at the tables, the best we can, to provide adequate space between them

We will check each child's temperature as they enter our building to ensure no fever.

We will ensure all rooms are disinfected prior to our youth meetings
