Tips to help your donation go further

Unfortunately, online donations come with a processing cost that the church must pay. Three ways you can help the church save processing fees: 

  1. Give via direct deposit. To use this method, contact our Office Administrator & Comptroller Carol Conway. 
  2. Give online from your bank account rather than a credit card. The processing fees the church pays will be less.
  3. Help us cover the cost by choosing to "pay for credit card fees."

DEBT REDUCTION DRIVE

HOW WE GOT HERE

Gateway has been blessed with an incredible facility that we have been worshipping in since 2013. Fast forward to today, we have $1.9 Million remaining in our mortgage, scheduled to be paid off by 2032. 


OUR DRIVE

The decision to invite you to give towards debt elimination at this time is motivated by our desire to be faithful stewards of the resources that God has entrusted to us. While the mortgage has been a blessing, making our beautiful church campus possible, paying it off now would allow us to redirect more than $500,000 into savings or ministry just over the next 4 years, money that would otherwise be spent on interest. Having paid the debt down to its current level, and given many positive signs of the church’s current health, we believe that paying the debt off over the next four years is a realistic and worthwhile goal!


KEY NUMBERS

We strive to contribute $200,000 (over and above our principal payments) in debt reduction per year, for the next 3-4 years. Including our annual payments (through the budget) of $175,000, our objective is to be debt free by 2026!


HOW TO GIVE

As we consider God’s generosity to us this fall, we pray that the Father will lead you into greater freedom as idols are recognized and submitted to Christ. In the course of this work, God may prompt you to engage in your own generous acts out of the time, talents and treasures that He has entrusted to you. God may invite you to give in new ways at home, in the world or within the church. We ask that you would prayerfully consider whether contributing to the elimination of our debt might be a part of God’s invitation to you during this season.
