EDGERETREAT2023

- Experience the Story -

It's one thing to read or hear a story from the comfort of a bedroom or a dining table or a classroom but what if you read the story in a location similar to where the story would've taken place? What if you experienced a story as you read it? How would that affect the way you view the story? Would it cause you to pause and hear things from a new perspective?

the details

We will meet and set up "camp" at 6:30pm on Friday, May 14. We will be sleeping in the heritage wing of our building!

In light of that please bring along a sleeping bag, a mattress if you so choose, pillows and all toiletries.

We will have 3 teaching time together as an entire group. The theme for the retreat is "Experience the Gospel." We'll dive into three stories from scripture in locations very similar to where they may have taken place so that we can hopefully hear the story in a new light. We'll spend time in teaching and in small groups to dive deeper into the stories and how they play into our lives today.

The cost for the retreat is $50/student. Payable upon arrival

All EDGE Youth are welcome to join us and invite a friend to join the fun.
Registration deadline is May 4, 2023
